लोग अक्सर भगवान के दर्शन करने अनेकों तीरथ जाते हैं बड़े-बड़े कष्ट झेलकर मंदिरों में जाते हैं कई वर्त-उपवास लेते हैं लेकिन उन्हे परम शांति नही मिल पाती है आत्म-संतुष्टि नही मिल पाती है विवेकानंद कहते थे में जब छोटे-छोटे बच्चों को मंदिरों में देखता हूँ तो मुझे बहुत खुशी होती है लेकिन जब में बूढ़ों को मंदिर जाते देखता हूँ तो मुझे बड़ा दुख होता है कि वे इतनी बड़ी उम्र तक भी प्रभु को नही जान पाए प्रभु का जो सच्चा नाम है वह नही जान पाए भगवान के सभी नाम गुणवाचक है लेकिन जो प्रभु का सच्चा नाम है वो गुणवाचक नही जीभ के अंतर्गत नही आता है और वो नाम केवल समय के सच्चे सतगुरु ही दे सकते हैं उसी में परम शांति है जिससे मान में शांति होगी तभी तो बाहर भी शांति होगी और तभी पूरी दुनिया मैं शांति होगी और सच्चे ज्ञान को जाने बिना वे इधर-उधर भटकते हैं देखा-देखी भक्ति करते हैं परंतु इससे कल्याण नही होगा वह नरक से नही बच सकता है उस परम ज्ञान को केवल सच्चे सतगुरु ही दे सकते हैं  यही ज्ञान महाभारत में कृष्ण ने अर्जुन को दिया था उस पावन नाम को शिव जी भ जप ते हैं हनुमान जी महाराज भी उसी नाम को जप ते थे...
